Paris Men’s Fashion Week for Fall/Winter 2024 unfolded with a captivating juxtaposition of styles, ranging from subtle elegance to extravagant designs.

Louis Vuitton's Artistic Influence

The week commenced with Pharrell Williams presenting his third show for Louis Vuitton, titled "Paris-Virginia." Drawing inspiration from Americana, the collection featured leather and denim with Western and workwear influences. Turquoise accents, classic Western accessories, and a collaboration with Dakota and Lakota tribes added unique elements. Street style during the week reflected elevated workwear and leather as dominant trends, further amplified by the presence of celebrities like Bradley Cooper and K-pop stars Riize, Jackson Wang, and BamBam.

Classic Masculinity Reinvented

Louis Vuitton's showcase set a defining tone for the week with its homage to American Westerns, featuring chaps, cowboy shirts, and turquoise beading. This marked a notable shift back to a classic portrayal of masculinity, departing from the previous dominance of streetwear. The show not only encapsulated a return to traditional masculinity but also signalled a harmonious fusion of fashion, music, entertainment, and cultural collaboration.

In essence, Paris Men’s Fashion Week became a vibrant canvas showcasing the dual nature of men’s luxury fashion, seamlessly oscillating between quietly sophisticated and unapologetically extravagant styles, thereby creating an engaging and diverse fashion landscape.
