Bulgari, the Italian luxury fashion and jewellery brand is renowned for its exquisite craftsmanship, designs and use of precious gemstones and metals. Bulgari has become synonymous with elegance and luxury with jewellery at the heart of its heritage and identity

The snake [ser-pent] signifies this collection as it encompasses wisdom, vitality and the ability to rebirth.

Serpent bracelets and cobra headdresses were royally worn by the Ancient Egyptian Pharaohs to symbolise power which was also passed across to Ancient Greece and many more cultures across the globe.

The Serpenti designs date back to the 1940s designed by the Greek founder Sotirios Boulgaris, using a technique called ‘Tubogas’ where metals were created to wrap around the wrist or the neck.

Timeless pieces have evolved since then beside collaborations with various artists, designers and celebrities fermenting the position of the luxury brand. With a strong presence in the global market, Italian jewellery is recognised for its exquisite craftsmanship, elegant designs and detailed artistry. Gemstones used in the latest Serpenti collection were sourced specifically from India, a country also renowned for its distinctive jewellery. Between both there is a common thread of exceptional craftsmanship to invent wearable art.

Despite cultural differences in not only Italy and India but across the globe, jewellery and the artisan is what brings designs together to create the paramount of high jewellery. Remember, the scarcity of the gems makes pieces more desirable and irresistible.
