This Milan Fashion Week, we've seen the accessory take centre stage in the men's collections as a bold and expressive addition to their looks. Much like the popularity of bag charms in 2024, which allow individuals to personalise their accessories, brooches may just be be the new customisation tool.

Records of brooches and their use go back to the bronze age (ironically) but they're still very much used daily in traditional wear such as Indian Sarees where the accessory is used to pin up the pleats.
